What is Soft Skill?

Many people would have this mindset:

Soft skill = How good you can talk & get along with others

However, according to the speaker in this video (who is the first leader of Microsoft in Taiwan):

Soft skill = Precision Answering & Precision Questioning

I was impressed by this video. The working culture in Microsoft has shown that they deserve the honour and credit to become World No.1 brand, and to lead the market. The main factor is: THE PEOPLE - how they train and educate their people. Their employees are trained to tell facts and provide constructive suggestions, and yet, criticisms and bunks are strongly discouraged.

Microsoft's ability in people management is absolutely awesome. This has been proven by their consistent performance. They were, and still, the world leader throughout the decades, in terms of brand, products, and company, after lots of ups and downs, and obstacles.

Direct to the core, constructive confrontation, open and respectful: these are the core values in team & human resource management. It increases the productivity of your people, in addition, puts your company to be sustainable and stays competitive in the market.

So, from now on, to improve myself and to be a better person,

No more EXCUSES!

No more SMOKE!

Tell the FACTS!

Solve the PROBLEM!
